ABOUT WPRS

Wisconsin Precision Rimfire Series (WPRS) is a community of shooters and match directors dedicated to the growth of long-range precision rimfire shooting. Our series provides opportunities for competitive rimfire series matches in Wisconsin, fostering a vibrant community of shooting enthusiasts. Currently, the WPRS hosts matches at 4 clubs in Wisconsin - West Bend Barton Sportsman's Club, Beloit Rifle Club, Columbus Sportsman's Association and Luxemburg Sportsman's Club.
WPRS points for the season standings are attained by shooting in WPRS matches. Since all WPRS matches are also Precision Rifle Series (Rimfire) matches, points will also be earned for the Precision Rifle Series (Rimfire).
The PRS points system is based on a performance system where the first-place shooter receives 100 points and all other shooter’s scores are determined by dividing their score by the winner’s score and multiplying that number by 100.
PRS points for the field are figured using the following formula: Shooters score / winners score x 100, rounded to 3 decimal places.
Example:
You received 89 match points.
The winner received 105 match points.
Therefore; (89 / 105) * 100 = 84.7619 rounded to 84.762 WPRS points

Total WPRS points for the season will be the sum of the shooter’s three best match scores plus the finale match (3 matches + finale). Each year the WPRS will host a finale match (Championship) and the finale matche will rotate from member WPRS clubs. The WPRS finale (Championship) will feature an exceptional prize table and WPRS members will qualify to walk the prize table in order of the final season's points. In order to shoot the WPRS finale (Championship) YOU MUST BE A WPRS MEMBER!
